Vegamour vs. Ceremonia: Which Will Increase Hair Wellness From the Root?
With the days starting to get longer and spring almost on the horizon, I'm changing my hair care routine a little bit. After months of cold weather and artificial indoor heating, my fine hair is dryer than normal, so I'm looking for products that revive and restore.
My hair has also been thinning in recent months. My once full and thick hairline looks sparse, and I think stress is a contributing factor. This hasn't stopped me from wanting to play with new styles, though! And because I love trying out new looks, the styling products I use must be effective yet caring. With this in mind, I compared VEGAMOUR with Ceremonia to see which products worked best. And here's what I discovered.
VEGAMOUR
I've heard a lot about VEGAMOUR and know many people consider it a leader in the hair wellness game. You only have to check out the many before-and-after shots from people using GRO Hair Serum to see the positive impact the brand is having on hair loss.
I decided to order the serum and was instantly in love with its lightweight, non-greasy formula. And after about three months of use, I saw incredible results, especially around my temple area.
Every product in the VEGAMOUR collection is 100% vegan and completely cruelty-free. None of their products contain chemicals or nasty toxins, and they offer a wide range of clinically-proven hair growth and styling products.
The brand's new ENSO collection also really piqued my interest. The Overnight Restoring Hair Mask is different from other products because it adapts to the unique needs of damaged hair — this basically makes it unique to every person who uses it! In addition, it deeply nourishes the strands and reduces frizz, which is great if you love using a curling iron and hot tools like I do. Check out this before and after from a customer who used this mask!
The styling products in the VEGAMOUR collection are fabulous too. I loved using the hair foam to plump up my thinning strands, leaving my hair fuller and thicker. The intuitive ingredients work to rebalance my hair growth, and my scalp felt soothed after every use. And the GRO Dry Shampoo freshened up my roots perfectly when I didn't have time for a long shower.
With VEGAMOUR, you're guaranteed a range of products that improve your hair's health overall. Each product in the GRO and GRO+ Advanced collections accelerates growth and helps your hair look its very best.
Ceremonia
The packaging for Ceremonia is really bright, fun and young. Like VEGAMOUR, each product is cruelty-free and vegan, but its ingredients weren't quite as effective on my hair.
Among the brand’s all-natural collection, there are some hair growth products. Still, the ingredients aren't clinically proven (as far as I can see), and the before-and-after photos didn't impact me as much as VEGAMOUR's results.
The products are affordable, and they looked great on my bathroom shelf. And while many of its products seem to focus on frizzy hair (which is definitely a concern of mine), I felt some of the ingredients left my hair looking limp and over-moisturized.
One thing I really didn't like about Ceremonia’s products was the amount of plastic used for the packaging. When I looked on the website, I assumed all of the brown bottles used were glass, but I was so shocked when I realized they were plastic! For a brand that seems to pride itself on its all-natural and sustainable ingredients, it doesn't make sense that it uses so much plastic. I really wasn't a fan of that.
The Results
Without a doubt, VEGAMOUR is the more thoughtful, sustainable and effective hair brand out of the two. As someone making a conscious effort in 2022 to be more sustainable, the brown plastic bottles Ceremonia used are just not good enough. VEGAMOUR uses very little plastic in its collection, and I love the pink glass bottles!
If you're looking for a hair wellness brand to replenish and pump new life into your hair, VEGAMOUR has everything you need. Whether you're struggling with hair loss or an under-nourished scalp — or you just need some new styling products — the brand offers a product that will bring your hair back to its glossy origins.
Each product is made using clinically-proven ingredients, and they're super affordable too. Plus, you don't need to use too much product to get real results. For me, VEGAMOUR is definitely the clear winner!
